Understanding Test Limits & Matrix Interference

We believe that scientific honesty builds genuine trust with enterprise procurement officers.

Positive Indication (Color Shift)

The reactive indicator changes from its base neutral tone to a pronounced purple/blue shade. If this occurs, do not consume the beverage. Alert trusted friends, venue staff, or security immediately.

Beverage Matrix Considerations

Certain beverage matrices may occasionally challenge visual interpretation:

  • High-Acidity Drinks: Pure lemon/lime mixers or vinegar-based shrubs may produce subtle background toning.
  • Intensely Pigmented Liquids: Red wines or dark berry cocktails can deposit surface stains; compare with an unreactive dry sticker.
  • Dairy & Cream Liqueurs: High fat emulsion may slow down liquid absorption across the chemical membrane.
